We’re not sure if you saw it, but we were in the news last week! The Summit Daily helped us announce our new partnership with the International Mountain Bicycling Association, which will mean more support for local trail building and maintenance, assistance with long term work on trail plans and lending a hand with events – like the one we’re about to have to celebrate this new step in Summit Fat Tire History! Read more here.
Save the date for 6:30-8 p.m. Monday, July 8 for our meet-and-greet party with IMBA and Summit Fat Tire folk. Yes, we’re offering burgers, veggie burgers and brats for purchase – and beer – but it’s also so much more than that.
IMBA trail crews will share a little bit of know-how, and Aaron Clark, IMBA Conservation Manager, will be speaking on local issues affecting the mountain bike community, including Senator Mark Udall’s Central Mountains Lands Protection Bill.
